The luxury real estate sector is a "challenge" that many agency owners in Italy are enthusiastically embracing. Of course, much depends on the reference areas and the target clientele that individual agencies cater to. But "where there's a will, there's a way," and current numbers attest that the high-end real estate market represents the "future" of the industry for those who seize the opportunity.

Egidio Fratini, owner of the eponymous real estate agency operating in the province of Teramo, is convinced of this and has granted us the following interview.

What is the current trend in the real estate market in the area your agency covers?

The real estate trend in our area mainly revolves around independent solutions, even though there isn't a wide selection at the moment. For this reason, our clientele is shifting interest towards condominium solutions, also because prices are more affordable.

Based on your experience, have you identified a target clientele for your real estate agency?

Unfortunately, the target clientele for my agency falls into the lower-middle class, precisely for the reasons mentioned earlier and because our area has a relatively high percentage of unemployed individuals. Even those who are employed typically have fixed-term contracts.

Which properties are currently in the highest demand?

As mentioned earlier, the most requested properties at the moment are medium-sized apartments with a maximum purchase price not exceeding €120,000.00 / €150,000.00.

Based on your experience in the industry, what are the potential future developments in the luxury real estate market in your reference area and in general?

Due to the aforementioned reasons and my determined nature always ready to face new challenges, I have decided to give a new direction to my business or at least try to by joining the "Luxforsale" family and expanding my horizons beyond my town and neighboring areas.

I am already starting to make contacts, some of which are already scheduled, with potential clients throughout the regions of Abruzzo and Marche. It is my intention to operate in places considered excellent for luxury real estate investments, primarily in coastal and mountainous locations.
